Hello fellow classmates,
My name is Kim and I teach at San G High School. I am looking forward to finding out how this process called blogging works, so I will jump on in. Within the last three years of teaching high school students, the neverending question, “Why is research important?” has come up so many times that I don’t really know what to tell them anymore. I believe that research is important because there are so many things that we don’t know about around us. I would like to research how history influences literature. Although, I have seen the connections with most of the basic elements of literature, I know that I have missed so many other things that authors have used in order to represent the life and times. I would also like to know how to make the methods of research more readily available and meaningful to students.
